1. Acceptance of these Terms

These Terms govern your access to and use of AI Image Checker at aiimagechecker.net, including its image-analysis tools and related pages (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Service description and availability

The Service may provide probabilistic AI-origin analysis, image descriptions, visible-content analysis, and location estimates. Features may be experimental, unavailable, changed, rate-limited, or discontinued without notice. A public developer API has not launched; the API Access page only collects expressions of interest and does not promise access, pricing, or a launch date.

3. Eligibility and access

You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use the Service for an organization, you confirm that you are authorized to bind that organization. The current public tools do not require a user account. You are responsible for your device, connection, and activity while using the Service.

4. Images and other content you submit

You retain your rights in content you submit. You grant us and our processing providers only the limited permission necessary to receive, transmit, process, and return that content for the analysis you request, and to maintain service security. You represent that you have the rights and lawful basis necessary to submit the content. Do not submit confidential material, unlawful content, or sensitive personal information unless you are authorized and have a valid reason to do so.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• violate law or the rights, privacy, or safety of others;
• upload content you are not authorized to process;
• use results to harass, discriminate, deceive, or cause harm;
• bypass access controls, rate limits, security measures, or technical restrictions;
• introduce malware, overload the Service, scrape it abusively, or interfere with its operation; or
• misrepresent a model output as verified fact or official proof.

6. Analysis results and important decisions

Results are automated estimates and may be incomplete, incorrect, or affected by editing, compression, missing context, or model limitations. A confidence score does not prove authorship, authenticity, identity, intent, or location. Do not rely on the Service as the sole basis for legal, employment, credit, insurance, medical, safety, law-enforcement, or other high-impact decisions. Verify important findings using source history, metadata, independent tools, and qualified human review.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service, site design, software, branding, and original site content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you ownership of the Service or permission to copy, resell, or create derivative services from protected materials except where applicable law allows it.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service depends on third-party hosting, analytics, image-processing, advertising, and communication services and may link to third-party websites. Their services and content are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

9. Suspension and termination

We may restrict or terminate access when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security risk, legal requirements, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.

10. Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that results are accurate, complete, or suitable for your intended use. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from use of or inability to use the Service. Any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded remains limited only to the extent permitted by applicable law.

12. Applicable law and disputes

These Terms are governed by applicable law, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Before starting a formal dispute, please contact us and allow a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue informally.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Service, law, or risk. The revision date above will be updated when material changes are posted. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms to the extent permitted by law.
